Looking forward to a busy birthday month of September. I’m playing guitar for the West Coast premiere of Max Vernon’s The View UpStairs at Celebration Theatre, opening September 22nd, with previews starting this Friday, September 15th. It’s an incredible score, and I’m grateful to be one of the first people to play it, since the show just closed its off-Broadway run in May. Additionally, I’ll be holding it down on bass for a couple of performances of a Lana Del Rey cabaret at Three Clubs in Hollywood. Killer band with Andrew Orbison music directing and Austin Farmer on drums.
Throw in a few more Anabot sessions to finish up the Mongrel LP, and continuing work on my instrumental collaboration with John Schroeder, and it’s shaping up to be quite the fall. More to come in October too!
